Christina began her flamenco studies in 2008 with Carola Zertuche and has continued intensive study of dance and palmas with Melissa Cruz since 2011. In 2013, she danced in the Livermore Valley Opera production of Carmen, which featured two of her original choreographies. She performed with the dance company Caminos Flamencos in their 2014 production of Canciones. In 2016, she was an ensemble dancer in Theater Flamenco's 50th Anniversary production, El Latir Del Tiempo, which featured internationally renowned artists Pastora Galván and Juana la del Pipa. Christina continues to perform as a soloist and ensemble dancer in Bay Area flamenco tablaos including Misión Flamenca in SF, the Flamenco Room at Thirsty Bear, Oakland Flamenco Sessions, Flamenco @ The Seahorse in Sausalito, Flamenco Live at The Big Easy, Baobab Flamenco, Cuadro Del Mar, Flamenco at Barcelona Teleferic, Si Me Queréis...Írse!!! at El Chato, The Annex Sessions in El Cerrito, and others.
